This one is for the boys! Ladies, you can thank me later…

When we launched www.fancyfacecosmetics.com last week, I received an overwhelming amount of wonderful emails. As I was going through all of them, I came across one, in particular, that stood out to me. It was from a boy that I haven’t seen in 15 years. At first he started with a “congratulations”, which is great to hear, and then followed it up with a suggestion, and I thought it was brilliant. How did I not think of this before, I asked myself! He suggested a “boyfriend button”. This is quite possibly the greatest idea of all time, so I’ve been thinking of how I can add this feature to the website and here’s what I’ve come up with: nikki@fancyfacecosmetics.com has just become your own personal “boyfriend button!” Boys, you can email me any questions about anything you can imagine. “What should I get her for her birthday, we’ve only been dating a month?”, “What makeup do you suggest?”, “Her mom is driving me nuts, how do I deal?”, “What does the Louis Vuitton Speedy mean!?!” . If you can think of it, I can answer it. I say that with confidence, because, trust me, I’ve been through it all! So, instead of getting in the usual “you don’t know anything about me” fight, fix the problem before it starts!

Ladies, here’s where you thank me…

I look forward to hearing from you!

xoxo,
Nikki

Hello Fancy Face World

Sunday, January 3rd, 2010

Hi!  Thanks for checking out my blog!  Every week we will have new tips, tricks, and advice on just about everything!  I love getting emails with your feedback and topic requests!  So, please don’t hesitate to write me at nikki@fancyfacecosmetics.com!

This week’s topic is all about Fashion!  I am currently obsessed with Military style jackets, they look great with just about anything.  I love pairing them with jeans for a casual date night, or over a slinky dress for a night out with my girls!  Remember, the trick to pulling off the style is NOT to over accessorize.  Typically I am the accessory queen, but Military jackets tend to be heavily detailed, so you don’t want to over-do it.  I would go for no necklace, but definitely go for some rockin earrings!  The more vintage looking the better!  Wear your hair up in a sleek ponytail, and let your makeup and outfit shine!

As I said before, I’m obsessed with these jackets… think I own about 9!  I’ve found some really good ones that are in the stores now.
Check out: Forever 21, Windsor, Macys(Rachel Roy), and Neiman Marcus.
Just keep in mind, it is a trend, so don’t spend alot of your hard earned money on it.  If you decide to splurge, go for the styles that have classic lines, and that you can transfer from season to season.

I look forward to hearing from you!

All my love,
Nikki
